Police Follow Up on Warrants, Make Arrests

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in court after his arrest by Haverhill Police Wednesday for an outstanding warrant.

Haverhill Police report Ryan Parentene, 31, was arrested at 6:11 p.m., Wednesday, at the intersection of Washington and Chick Avenue. He is charged with possession of a class A and class B substance.

In other police news, a woman from Lyman, Maine, was arrested Wednesday due to an outstanding warrant. According to police, Mariah B. Singleterry, 34, was arrested at 11:58 a.m., Wednesday, at the Haverhill Police Station. She is charged with unarmed robbery.

Also, Nicholas Harris, 20, of Haverhill, was arrested at 11:15 a.m., Wednesday, at 1 Chick Avenue due to an outstanding warrant for forgery of a check.
