Sean M. Ward, 40, of Plaistow, N.H. and formerly of Haverhill died unexpectedly Monday evening, April 13, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.
He was born in Haverhill, July 10, 1974, son of Bruce Ward of Haverhill and Barbara (Clarke) Ward of Peabody. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Ward attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School. He was employed for several years as a carpenter for Bastenelli Construction, Beverly. An avid Boston sports fan and outdoorsman, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and camping.
Besides his parents his survivors include a sister, Jennifer Schmidt of Plaistow, N.H.; a niece, Alexis Schmidt of Plaistow, N.H.; stepmother, Georgette Mousseau of Haverhill; stepfather, Steve Fillos of Peabody; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Saturday, April 18, from 2 to 4:45 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 5 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to the drug rehabilitation service of the donor’s choice.
