Homeless Woman Faces Court on Theft Charges

A woman, listed by Haverhill Police as homeless, is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on theft and other charges, after her arrest Monday on three outstanding warrants.

According to police, Meaghan Ritson, 23, was arrested at 10:50 p.m., Monday, at High and Temple Streets. She is charged with breaking and entering, larceny by check under $250 and an abuse prevention order violation.

In other poolice news, two Haverhill teens, arrested separately Monday night, will appear in juvenile court to face assault charges under outstanding warrants. Haverhill police report a 13-year-old male was arrested at 8:40 p.m., Monday, on two counts of assault and battery. Also, a 14-year-old male was taken into custody at 9 p.m., Monday, on a single count of assault and battery

A man was due to be arraigned on impaired driving charges after his arrest early Monday. According to police, Jacobi Bell, 24, address not listed, was arrested at 1 a.m., Monday, at 259 Main St. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and drugs, as well as a red light violation.

Also, a Haverhill man was to appear in district court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle in violation of a license restriction. According to police, Anthony Montisanti, Jr., 65, was arrested at 4 a.m., Monday, at 400 Lowell Ave.
