A Methuen man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District court Monday after his arrest over the weekend on assault and weapon-related charges.
Haverhill Police report Luis Pabon, 41, of Methuen was arrested at 4 p.m., Friday, at 42 Bellevue Ave. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a firearm) and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Two people are facing drunk driving charges in court after separate arrests over the weekend.
According to Haverhill Police, Melissa Clark, 38, of Haverhill was arrested at 3:39 a.m., Saturday, at 49 Lawrence St. She is charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor.
Also, Leo Silva, 45, of Haverhill, was arrested at 3:34 p.m., Friday, at St. James School, Primrose Street. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, second offense. Silva was also charged with resisting arrest and with an open container violation.
