Rosa Maria Calderon-Berrios, 56

Rosa Maria Calderon-Berrios, 56, of Haverhill, passed away Tuesday evening, April 7, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Juan Calderon and Justina Berrios. She was educated in Bayamon and earned a degree from the Inter American University.

She moved to the Haverhill area in 1991 and was employed at the Hannah Dustin Healthcare and Rehab. A caring, loving woman, she cared for the patients she served as she would her own family.

Rosa enjoyed life and cherished her time spent with her family. She loved music and taking day trips to the local lakes or the New Hampshire lakes region.

She leaves a son, Emanuel Vargas; brothers Edwin Calderon and Jose Calderon, of Puerto Rico, Carmen L. Juan, and Hector Calderon, both of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral Saturday morning April 11, at 11 a.m. at St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill. Burial will take place in Puerto Rico. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
