Greenleaf School Warns of ‘Stranger Danger’ After Incident

Haverhill Police and Greenleaf Elementary School parents are on alert following reports of alleged inappropriate contact between students and a man near the school on Chadwick Street.

According to a letter sent to parents Wednesday from Greenleaf Principal Toni Donais, the school received reports of a black male in an older white sedan who “took pictures and spoke inappropriately from his car to students.”

“The incidents occurred after school hours on Chadwick Street near Greenleaf School. The incidents pose a safety concern. The incidents have been reported to the Haverhill Police Department,” Donais said.

In the letter, parents are also asked to be involved in student safety at the bus stop before and after school as well as to take time to discuss “stranger danger” with their children.
