Two Haverhill residents face drunk driving charges as the result of an auto accident investigation by police Saturday night.
According to Haverhill Police, Diane Buchikos, 64 and Gayle Garrett, 56, both of Haverhill, were arrested between 8:15 and 8:20 p.m., Saturday, at 64 Crowell St. Each is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Buchikos was additionally charged with a marked lanes violation.
In other police news, two Haverhill men are due in court to face vandalism charges after their arrest early Sunday morning. Haverhill Police report Elijah Dellet, 18 and Michael Ellis, 20, both of Haverhill, were arrested at 2:42 a.m., Sunday, on Arch Street. Each is charged with one count of malicious destruction of property over $250.
