Police Make Two Student Arrests at Haverhill High School

Two Haverhill teenagers are due to appear in a juvenile court session following their separate arrests in connection with two reported disturbances Thursday at Haverhill High School, 137 Monument St.

According to Haverhill Police, a 14-year-old female was taken into custody at 8:44 a.m., while a 15-year-old female was arrested at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, at the school. Each is charged with disturbing a school assembly. The 15-year-old is additionally charged with resisting arrest. Their identities are being withheld due to their age.

In other police news, a Haverhill woman is due to be arraigned in district court on shoplifting charges following her arrest by Haverhill Police Thursday afternoon. Police report Nancy Cormer, 53, of Haverhill, was arrested at 12:47 p.m., Thursday, at Market Basket, Central Plaza, 2 Water Street. She is charged with two counts of shoplifting by concealing.
