Police Charge Man with Bradford House Break-In

A man listed as homeless by Haverhill police is due to be arraigned in court after his arrest Tuesday for an alleged burglary at a residence in the Bradford section.

According to Haverhill Police, David Cavanaugh, 27, was arrested at 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, at 8 Carrington Way. He was charged with breaking and entering in the daytime. He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for an unspecified violation.

In other police news, a Haverhill man was taken into police custody on a warrant Tuesday at Haverhill District Court, 45 Ginty Boulevard, for assault-related charges. Haverhill Police report Roberto E. Cosme, 36, of Haverhill, was arrested at 11:58 a.m., Tuesday. Under a warrant, he is charged with assault and battery on a household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

A Haverhill woman was arrested Tuesday night on a charge of shoplifting. Haverhill Police report Megan Landry, 29, of Haverhill, was arrested at 9:24 p.m., Tuesday, at 259 Main Street.
