Buttonwoods Shares Woolworth’s Memories

As the former Woolworth building fades from the downtown landscape, the Buttonwoods Museum is having an event to share memories of downtown Haverhill in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.

Memoir writer Thatcher Freund will give a presentation on the importance of sharing memories, from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, at the museum, 240 Water St. A reception will follow. Cost is $5 per person.
