An investigation by Haverhill Police lead to the arrest of a local man late Wednesday night on a warrant charging him with providing obscene material to a minor.
According to police, John Hoyt, 24, of Haverhill, was arrested at 11 p.m., Wednesday, at 70 Franklin St.He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
In other police news, two Haverhill men face various charges from police stemming from their arrests Wednesday on outstanding warrants. Police report Javier Colon, 34 and Robert M. Durbin, 41, both of Haverhill, were arrested at 10:35 a.m., Wednesday, at 24 Atwood Road. Colon was taken into custody on a warrant for unarmed robbery. He was additionally charged with failure to register as a sex offender (subsequent offense). Durbin was charged with possession of classes A and B substances. Police did not specify charges against him under an outstanding warrant.
