Drug, Disturbance Arrests Mark Police Work Tuesday

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned on drug-related charges in district court following his arrest stemming from an investigation by Haverhill Police detectives.

Police report Darinel Toribio, 33, of Haverhill, was arrested at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, at 15 North Street. He is charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute (subsequent offense), conspiracy to violate drug laws, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Three Haverhill men face various charges from police stemming from separate disturbance investigations on Tuesday.  According to Haverhill Police, John C. Clark, 44, of Haverhill, was arrested at 11:53 p.m. at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard. He is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Earlier Tuesday, Erich Jones, 49, of Haverhill, was arrested at 5 p.m. , on Howard Street. He is charged with assault and battery, disorderly conduct, threatening to commit a crime and possession of a class B substance.

Also, Matthew T. Doyle, 34, of Haverhill, was arrested at 7:45 a.m., Tuesday, at the Holy Family at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
