A Haverhill man is facing a drug-related charge in court following his arrest by Haverhill Police Monday evening.
Police report Lukas Hastings, 25, of Haverhill, was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 6 p.m., Monday, at 5 Kimball Street. He is charged with possession of a class A drug.
In other police news, a man listed as homeless is due to be arraigned in court on a charge of drinking in public. Jose Defrancesco, 40, was arrested at 6:55 p.m., Monday, at the intersection of White and Vine Streets. According to the Haverhill Police Records division, officers responded to a complaint of a “suspicious person.”
