A Haverhill man accused of repeat drunk driving is due to be arraigned in court following his arrest Tuesday evening.
Haverhill Police report Michael Donaghue, 60, of Haverhill, was arrested at 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, at 40 Locke St. He was charged with operating under the influence (third offense), operating with suspended license, an open container violation and operating under the influence while license was suspended for prior offense.
An alleged shoplifting incident led to the arrest of two Groton women Tuesday evening. Jacinda R. Morales, 19, of Groton, was charged with shoplifting while Shauna David, 34, of Groton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for operating a motor vehicle after license suspension and failure to stop/yield. The arrests occurred at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, at 150 Lafayette Square.
In other police news, Megan Sarrette, 31, Haverhill, was arrested at 9:15 p.m., Tuesday, on Jackson Street for an outstanding warrant of possession to distribute class A drug violation near a school.
Brian Austin, 25, of Lowell was arrested for drinking in public at 9:18 p.m., Tuesday, at 20 Main St., Haverhill.
