Annette F. (Fruin) Munier, 86, St. Mary’s Hospital Nurse

Annette F. (Fruin) Munier, 86, died March 1.

She was born on Sept. 29, 1928 in Waterbury, Conn., daughter of the late Dr. John W. and Ann C. (Hennessy) Fruin. She is survived by her husband Paul A. Munier.

She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School, and she attended Anna Maria College before graduating from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing. Munier was, for many years, a registered nurse on the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, and she served there for several years as a head nurse. She also served for several years as a Eucharistic minister in St. Joseph Parish in Haverhill and as a volunteer at the Haverhill Municipal (Hale) Hospital.

She was the sister of the late John W. Fruin Jr., and, in addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Kathleen M. Fruin, and by several nieces and nephews.

Munier’s family recognizes and thanks the staff at the Academy Manor Nursing Home for the excellent and loving care that she received there during her final years.

There are no calling hours and burial will private. A memorial Mass will be celebrated next month in All Saints Church in Haverhill. Arrangements are by Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. Memorial donations may be made a charity of the donor’s choice.
