The Haverhill police department has two new acting captains.
Lieutenants Anthony Haugh and Robert P. Pistone were each elevated to the rank of acting captain in a swearing-in ceremony Monday at Haverhill City Hall. Haverhill Police Chief Alan R. DeNaro was also present for the ceremony.
Pistone, also a police spokesperson, was unavailable for comment by deadline.
