Police Seize Drugs, Weapons in High Street-Area Raid

Four Haverhill residents are facing drug and firearms-related charges after their arrest Monday morning.

According to Haverhill Police, Davian Coote, 22, Jay Cruz, 20, Julio Cruz, 21, and Jedensa Gibson, 19, were all arrested at 5:41 a.m, Monday, at 20 Swasey St. Each is charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws, drug violation near school zone or park, possession of a class C substance and unlicensed possession of ammunition. Coote, Julio Cruz, and Gibson are each additionally charged with possession of a firearm without firearm identification.

“Haverhill’s narcotics unit, detectives and the ATF executed a search warrant in the High Street area. Drugs, cash and a handgun were seized,” a Haverhill Police spokesperson said.

They were due to be arraigned on the charges in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news, a man and woman each face armed robbery and drug related charges after their arrest Monday night. According to police, Russell Fredrickson, 30, of Exeter, N.H. and Andrea Bilodeau, 29, of Haverhill, were both arrested at 9 p.m., Monday, at the intersection of Locke and Winter streets. Each is charged with armed robbery, trafficking heroin and possession of class E substance. Fredrickson is additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice.

A Haverhill teenager was arrested Monday on assault and vandalism charges. Police said a 14-year-old female was arrested at 1:43 p.m., on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property.
