Jane M. (Marquis) Blinn, 66

Jane M. (Marquis) Blinn, 66, of Merrimac, died Friday, Feb. 27 at her residence.

She was born in Lawrence Sept. 17, 1948, daughter of the late Rene and Irene (Breault) Marquis. She attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Methuen, and St. Mary’s Academy in Lawrence. She was retired from at C.L.A.S.S. Inc. after more than 20 years of dedicated service to handicapped adults. An avid fan of football and Elvis Presley, she also enjoyed trips to the beach with her husband and to Graceland with her lifelong friend Arlene Thompson.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years William P. Blinn; sons Peter J. Blinn and his wife Tammy of Northwood, N.H., and Brian R. Blinn and his wife Tara of Ceredo, West Virginia; brother Roger Marquis of Lawrence; sister-in-law Joanne Rogers of Haverhill; three grandchildren Jessica, Kyle and Richard Jr., and two great grandchildren Jassiah and Jaxson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother Raymond Marquis of Methuen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours  Tuesday, March 3, from 5 to 6:45 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill with a funeral Service to follow at 7 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
