‘Dangerous Weapons’ at Center of Separate Arrests Saturday

Two men are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court after separate arrests involving dangerous weapons.

Charles Stevens, 62, of Haverhill was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed possession of ammunition and improper storage of a weapon, at 8.p.m. Saturday, 553 Broadway, Haverhill.

Meanwhile, Anthony Scibilia, 51, of Peabody, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, a firearm, and threat to commit a crime upon his arrest at 3:10 p.m., Saturday, at the intersection of Concord and Victory Streets.

In other police news, Lawrence Rabbid, 56, of Haverhill, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a seat belt violation Saturday, 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Summer Streets.

Kourtney Dugan, 27, of Haverhill, was arrested Saturday, 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Locust and Winter Streets and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, driving with a suspended registration and having an uninsured vehicle.

Dwain Day, 35, Haverhill, was arrested Friday on Washington St. at 1:40 p.m. and charged with a stop sign violation and operating a vehicle after license revocation.
