Methuen Police Seek Public Identifying Bank Robbery Suspects

Police in Methuen are asking the public’s help in locating two suspects in an unarmed robbery reported Thursday at Santander Bank, 125 Merrimack Street, Methuen.

According to Methuen Police, the robbery occurred at about 1:40 p.m., Thursday. A male subject who entered the bank did not show a weapon and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect left the bank and entered the passenger’s side of a gold colored Nissan Maxima with a possible partial license plate of 76CW. The vehicle was being driven by a second white male subject. The vehicle was last seen turning onto Merrimack St. heading towards Interstate 495.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male, approximately six feet tall (medium build). He was wearing an orange or red winter hat, navy blue sweatshirt with a grey sweatshirt underneath, a grey face mask, blue jeans, white sneakers and blue winter gloves.
