Three people are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on drug-related charges after their arrests in Haverhill Wednesday.
According to Haverhill Police, all three were arrested at 4:36 p.m., Wednesday, at 76 South Pleasant St. Luis Medina-Rodriquez, 38, of Lawrence, and Enrique Ortiz, 36, of Methuen, are each charged with possession of a class B substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws. A third suspect from Lawrence, age not listed, was charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, distribution of a class B substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
In other police news, a Lawrence man is facing charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor, operating a vehicle without being licensed and a marked lanes violation. According to Haverhill Police, Roberto Lopez, 33, of Lawrence, was arrested 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, at 233 Neck Road.
