Plaistow Truck Dealership Fire Not ‘Suspicious’

The cause of a building fire at a Plaistow, N.H. used car dealership “is not deemed suspicious,” according to Plaistow Fire Chief John H. McArdle.

McArdle told WHAV the building, at Diesel World Truck Sales, 87 Plaistow Road, Plaistow, “is unstable and we are waiting for the owner’s insurance agent to contact me so we can discuss options going forward.”

“There are still some areas that are smoldering which we are monitoring periodically,” McArdle said.

No injuries were reported in the blaze which broke out Tuesday afternoon above a ceiling inside the buiding. The building and at least one vehicle inside were reportedly destroyed in the fire.
