Brazen Robbers Back SUV Through Entrance of Methuen Store

Methuen police are looking for two people that backed a truck through the front of a Family Dollar store and made off with money.

Methuen Police released a surveillance video showing two suspects reversing a dark blue Jeep into an already boarded up window at the front of Family Dollar, 40 Jackson St.

“Surveillance video shows two masked and gloved males in a blue SUV (possibly Jeep Cherokee, older model) exit the vehicle and stand on the curb. The blue SUV then backs into the window, now boarded up with wood from last break. The two males are then seen entering the store. They are in there for a brief time before they come out of the store, get into the SUV and flee the area,” a Methuen Police spokesperson said.

According to police, the business was broken into in January where the suspects made off with a large amount of money.
