MVCC Plans Spring Business Expo, Health Fair

The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce will have its annual Spring Business Expo, Trade Show, Health and Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at Michael’s Function Hall, 12 Alpha Street, Haverhill.

Chamber President Joseph Bevilacqua told WHAV members of the healthcare community will also be on hand to answer related questions from the public as well as from businesses.

“The Spring Expo will feature, though, a health fair. And the reason why we’ve included that is because healthcare is probably the number one and number two issue that every small businessperson faces. As important is the homeowner, the resident from the region, they face healthcare questions. So we are excited that we’ll have members of the healthcare community there, on exhibit, available to answer any questions they may have,” Bevilacqua said.

Bevilacqua also said plans for a public interest breakfast program and “a major luncheon program” for the event are currently in the developmental stage.

“The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce is the only chamber that offers two business trade shows in the course of a calendar year. And the reason why is we believe it’s important that businesses in the Merrimack Valley have an opportunity to showcase their products and services, both in the spring and the fall. We think they are different markets,” Bevilacqua said.

Admission to the event, with exhibit booths, after-hours business networking mixers, raffle and door prizes, is free to the public.
