Haverhill Deputy Police Chief Donald Thompson told WHAV there were no reported electricity outages overnight. National Grid reported a minor outage near Andover town center and one in North Andover–each affecting fewer than five customers. North of the border, as of 10 a.m., Tuesday, electric provider Unitil reported no outages in Plaistow. In the town of Sandown, N.H., no power outages were reported by Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH).
“We will be ready with personnel and equipment to handle the storm response,” said Dan Bunszell, National Grid vice president of New England Operations. A winter street parking ban is in effect for the town of Plaistow, N.H. Vehicles interfering with snow removal efforts will be towed. Beginning today, trash pickup in Plaistow is delayed by one day due to the storm.
