Police Arrest Haverhill Man Allegedly Selling Heroin

Two Haverhill men are facing drug-related charges after their arrests by police Thursday in separate investigations.

Haverhill Police report Jose Vazquez, 25, of Haverhill, was arrested following a traffic stop at 2:20 p.m., Thursday, at 129 Cedar St. He is charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute (subsequent offense), operating a motor vehicle after license suspension, speeding and failure to inspect a motor vehicle.

Later, Haverhill Police arrested Albert Sargent, 25, of Haverhill, at 6:17 p.m., at 2 Hilldale Avenue. He is charged with distribution of a class B substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Both suspects are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news, a Haverhill man is due in court after being arrested Thursday on an unlicensed driving charge. Haverhill Police report David Rosario, 20, of Haverhill, was arrested at 10:35 p.m., Thursday, at 101 High Street, on a single count of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
