‘Sparks Will Fly’ Monday at Possible Dreams Event

Team Haverhill says “sparks will fly” Monday when it commences its annual “Possible Dreams” event.

This year’s theme is “Sparking Creative Connections,” according to the group’s flyer. Possible Dreams takes place beginning at 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 26, at the David Hartleb Technology Center, Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill. Seating and coffee takes place beginning at 6:30.

“Response has been huge to our call for topics… The proposed topics link aspirations with actions, and the wealth of grass-roots community leadership is sure inspire us all!” according to a statement released today.

Team Haverhill is an outgrowth of Sally Cerasuolo-O’Rorke’s unsuccessful 2007 mayoral campaign. Cerasuolo-O’Rorke was president of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce at the time. The group originally held political training sessions for potential local government office seekers. Today, Team Haverhill describes itself as “an independent, volunteer action group dedicated to making Haverhill a better place to live, learn, work and play. We pursue this purpose by fostering civic dialogue, organizing hands-on projects, creating a more informed public, and advocating for positive change.”
