An icy mix of snow and sleet is forecast in the latest winter storm to hit the Merrimack Valley.
Sanding crews were out early this morning pre-treating local streets and highways. The forecast from Wave Weather calls for the storm to start with snow showers and changing to a wintry mix of snow and sleet, and possibly rain, before gradual clearing and temperatures falling back into the teens tonight. About one inch of snowfall is expected locally.
