Paula (St. Pierre) Noury, 67, Former City Employee

Paula (St. Pierre) Noury, 67 of Haverhill, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.

She was born on April 3, 1947 in Haverhill, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mildred (Patterson) St. Pierre. She was raised and educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill High School.

As a younger woman, Noury worked in the local shoe industry. She had also worked in the engineering department of the City of Haverhill. She retired with more than 23 years of service.

Noury liked tending to her flower garden and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a “social butterfly” who always loved to get together with her friends to play cards or to go to the Liberty Club or the Amvets Post 147 in Haverhill. She enjoyed being outside and sitting out on her deck in the nice weather.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Aunt Sharon for all of the love and care that she gave to our mom”.

Noury is survived by her former husband, Earle Noury and his wife, Sandra of Windsor, Maine. His sons; Robert Noury and his wife, Darkis of Enfield, Conn. and Steven Noury and his wife, Jennifer of Haverhill. Her brother, Eugene St. Pierre of Haverhill,. Her sister, Marcelle Imanti and her husband, Roger of Haverhill. Her grandchildren; Arlene Delacruz, Samantha Noury and Sarah Noury. Several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive her. Paula was predeceased by her brother, Lee St. Pierre and her sister, Josephine Cunningham.

Family and friends are invited to attend Noury’s Life Celebration Monday, Jan. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA 01832. Funeral Services will follow her Life Celebration at the funeral home at 7:15 p.m.
