There will be an interfaith vigil in Methuen next week to reaffirm community and police relationships.
Methuen police Chief Joseph Solomon said the vigil will be take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, by Saint Moncia’s Church, Lawrence Street, Methuen.
“The intent of this vigil is to reaffirm the positive community-police relationship that we have enjoyed, here in Methuen and in the greater Merrimack Valley. We welcome everybody in the greater Merrimack Valley to come down to the vigil, and see us,” Solomon said.
The vigil will be a 45-minute multi-faith collaboration to offer prayers of support for all members of the community.
