Denice E. Young, 40

Denice E. Young, 40, of Lowell and formerly of Haverhill, passed away suddenly at home.

She was born in Salem, Mass., April 28, 1974, the daughter of Ronald and Donna (Stanley) Gorman. She was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from the Whittier Vocational Technical High School with the class of 1992.  Young was an exceptional artist, and she loved to read and write poetry as well as draw. She had an incredible sense of humor and always loved a good joke. Denice had the uncanny ability to always see the good in people and was always giving; she was charitable to a flaw. She was a loving sister and touched many lives.

Young is survived by her parents, Ronald and Donna Gorman of Haverhill, a son, Jacob Pinheiro of Merrimac, three sisters, Attorney Dawne Young of Merrimac, Deborah Young and her fiancé Mark St. Jean of Kingston, N.H., Darlene and her husband Brett Pankauski of Methuen, two brothers, Darrin Young of Seabrook, N.H., and David Young of Hamilton, four nieces, Hannah Pankauski, Ashley Young, Sarah Young and Nicole Batchelder as well as many aunts, uncles and friends.

At the request of her family, funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
