Unhappy Meal: Police Make Drug Arrest at McDonald’s

A Wilmington man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on drug-distribution charges following his arrest by Haverhill detectives Monday evening.

Haverhill Police report 23-year-old David McNee Jr., of Wilmington, was arrested at 6 p.m., Monday, at McDonald’s restaurant, 1110 Main Street. He is charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute and distribution of a class B substance. He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant charging him with another count of distribution of a class B substance.

In other police news, a Lawrence man is facing drug-related charges after his arrest by Haverhill Police on a warrant early Monday morning. Police report 34-year-old Erick Deleon of Lawrence was arrested shortly before 1 a.m., Monday, at 106 Presidential Drive. Under a warrant, he is charged with possession of a class A substance, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

A Haverhill teenager is due to face charges in juvenile court in connection with a reported disturbance in the Bradford section Monday night. Haverhill Police report a 14-year-old female was taken into custody at about 9:45 p.m., Monday, on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, and threat to commit a crime. According to police, she was also taken to an area hospital, but no further details were available. Her identity is being withheld due to her age.
