The Haverhill Citizens Center is available for anyone who is homeless or who loses heat and needs a place to stay.

Mayor James J. Fiorentini this morning said he opened the Haverhill Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St., for those who are in need during this bitter cold weather.

“If you know of someone who is without heat, they can go to the Citizens Center during the day, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or call (978) 374-2388, Ext. 22. If it is at night, they should call the police department on the non-emergency line, (978) 373-1212, and the police will arrange for them to get into the Citizens Center,” Fiorentini said.
