Dolores (Aucella) Henderson, 84, Worked at Air Canada

Dolores (Aucella) Henderson, 84, of Dunnellon, Fla., formerly of Malden, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 29, at Legacy House in Ocala. Florida. She was the wife of Robert J. Henderson.

Born in Boston, May 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Crisafi) Aucella.

For 28 years Dolores worked as a sales representative for Air Canada. With her ability to speak French fluently and her love of all things French, she was a very valued employee throughout her years with Air Canada.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, she was also very passionate about her dogs and enjoyed writing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Robert J. Henderson Jr. and wife Penny of Chester, N.H.; David J. Henderson and wife Lee of Haverhill and Michael Henderson of Little Rock, Arkansas; four granddaughters, Bonnie Larsson, Barbara Henderson, Katherine Balukas and Jennifer Henderson; two great-granddaughters, Emily Balukas and Mia Rodriguez; her three sisters, Della Highfield, Doris Hanlon and Deanna Luongo, along with several generations of nieces and nephews, all of whom were very dear to her and filled her life with love and abundant joy.

Visiting hours at the Paul C. Rogers-Carnevale Family Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, will be Friday, Jan. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m. immediately followed by services at 6. Interment in Saint James Cemetery, Haverhill, will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
