Cocaine Arrest Made in St. Joseph’s School Zone

A Haverhill man is facing cocaine trafficking and other drug-related charges in court after his arrest by police late Tuesday morning.

Haverhill Police report 30-year-old Jomar Roman of Haverhill was charged with trafficking cocaine and dealing cocaine in a school or park zone. He was also taken into custody on a warrant charging him with distribution of a class B drug, cocaine (subsequent offense).

According to a police spokesperson, detectives seized $800 cash and cocaine with a street value of $3,200. The arrest occurred at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, at 85 Blaisdell Street.
