Arthur L. Tidd, 68

Arthur L. Tidd, 68, of Manchester, N.H., formerly of Haverhill, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, N.H., after a period of declining health.

Born in Haverhill, June 17, 1946, he was the son of Stanley A.L. Tidd and Helen J. (Difloures) Tidd. He attended St. James Grammar School and Haverhill public schools.

Tidd was employed at Highliner Foods in Portsmouth, N.H., before retiring. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was a big fan of NASCAR racing and pro wrestling.

He is survived by his sisters, Patricia A. Lavoie, with whom he resided, Joyce C. Sanchez and her husband, Albino, of Florida, Mary J. Donovan and her husband, Leo, of Haverhill, and Julia R. Fletcher and her husband, Raymond, of Fitchburg; brothers Robert and his wife, Vesta, of Portsmouth, Richard M, of Manchester, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the ICU and Comfort Care Units at Catholic Medical Center for their care.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Sat., Dec. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services for Tidd will be held following the period of visitation at 3: p.m. in the funeral home. Burial is private.
