School Committee Meets to Pay Bills

It’s something most have to find time to do, and the Haverhill School Committee is no different It is meeting in special session this morning to pay bills.

The meeting is in place of its regularly scheduled, bi-weekly Thursday night meeting. It will also be the committee’s last scheduled meeting before the new year. According to the office of Superintendent of Schools James F. Scully, the lone order of business on the agenda is approval of a school vendor warrant, billing for a total $371,733.59 in services and materials provided under contracts. Among that amount is $21,839.71 for grants.

The Haverhill School Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m., today, in the conference room at the school administration office, room 104 at Haverhill City Hall.
