Fla. Man Faces Drunk Driving Charges After Downtown Stop

A Florida man is facing drunk driving and motor vehicle charges after his arrest by Haverhill Police early Sunday morning.

Police report 24-year-old David Hosler of Bridesville, Fla., was arrested shortly after 1:30 a.m., Sunday, at 45 Wingate St. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in court on multiple motor vehicle charges following his arrest Saturday night. Haverhill Police report 47-year-old John Desiderio of Haverhill was arrested shortly after 10 p.m., Saturday, at thte intersection of Winter and Franklin Streets. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. He was also taken into custody on a warrant charging him with operating a motor vehicle without a license and an inspection sticker violation.

A Fitchburg man is accused of shoplifting Saturday evening from a store at the Westgate shopping plaza, 400 Lowell Avenue, Haverhill. Police report 39-year-old Matthew Moore of Fitchburg was arrested shortly before 6 p.m., Saturday on a charge of shoplifting. He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
