Police Arrest Juvenile Downtown After Disturbance

A Haverhill teen is facing charges from police in connection with a reported disturbance Wednesday evening in the industrial downtown area.

Haverhill Police report a 14-year-old female was arrested shortly after 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, on Locke Street. She was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and threats to commit a crime. Her identity is being withheld due to her age. She is due to be arraigned on the charges in a juvenile court session.

A Haverhill man is arrested by Haverhill Police on two outstanding warrants after he allegedly tried to elude investigators. Police report 36-year-old Justin P. Walsh of Haverhill was also taken into custody at about 7 p.m., Wednesday, on a charge of disguise to obstruct justice. The arrest took place at the intersection of Franklin Street and Fifth Avenue. Police have not released the specific charges under the two arrest warrants.

He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news, a Haverhill man is due in court after being arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with an alleged stalking incident near Westgate shopping plaza. Haverhill Police report 32-year-old Bryan T. Kazes of Haverhill was arrested at 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, at 425 Lowell Avenue on a charge of annoying or accosting a person of the opposite sex.
