Debora J. Clark, 59, Nurse’s Assistant

Debora J. Clark, 59, of Haverhill, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley surrounded by her family.

She was born in Cambridge on June 21, 1955 the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (DeMarais) Pina. Clark was a nurse’s assistant in Boston for many years and also volunteered at the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Portland Street Baptist Church for 17 years. Clark loved to be with family, cooking and laughing.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Jean Newsome of Haverhill, and sons Bruce Newsome of Boston and Haven Newsome of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her daughter Carrie Stacia Wilson. Debora will be missed by her siblings Mary E. Clark of Haverhill, Diane Evora of Worcester, Viviane Jones of Medford , June Pina of Charlestown, Charles Pina Jr., John Pina of Haverhill, Joseph Pina of Bradford. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth (Pina) Bates. Debora had 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a Godchild. Debora will be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Family would like to thank the staff at Sara’s Place and Adult Foster Care of the North Shore for the support and friendship they gave to Debora for many years.

An hour of visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. A memorial service will follow at 11 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
