Methuen Searches for Home Invasion Suspects

Methuen police investigators this morning say an armed home invasion Sunday night in the East end near the Lawrence city line was not a random attack.

A Methuen Police spokesperson said no arrests have been made, as a search continues for at least two men suspected of attacking a resident at about 10 p.m., Sunday, at a home on Kendall Street, located off Swan Street. According to reports, the victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The suspects were believed to be armed with a baseball bat and at least one gun.

An overnight search and canvassing for witnesses was conducted with help from Massachusetts State Police, Lawrence Police, and a K-9 unit. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Methuen Police.
