Haverhill Police Make Downtown Drug Arrests

Two Haverhill men are facing charges in connection with alleged drug dealing Saturday night on Main Street.

Haverhill Police report Tyler McCormick and Patrick Murphy, both of 20 and from Haverhill, were arrested at 11:15 p.m., Saturday, at the Cumberland Farms convenience store, 323 Main Street. McCormick is charged with distribution of a class D substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws. He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. Murphy is charged with one count of conspiracy. They are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news, a Groveland man is due be arraigned in district court on shoplifting and drug possession charges after his arrest in Haverhill Saturday afternoon. Police report 48-year-old David Cash of Groveland was arrested shortly before 4 p.m., Saturday, at 150 Lafayette Square. He is charged with one count of shoplifting and possession of a class B substance, cocaine. No further details are available.
