Grace A. (Raymond) Bunker, 73, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, died Nov.11, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Everett and Leta (Kimball) Raymond, she graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1959.
Bunker was employed as the office manager and bookkeeper at Taylor Rental in Haverhill for 36 years before her retirement. She had also been employed at Haverhill National Bank for many years.
A member of West Congregation Church in Haverhill, Bunker was a former Brownie troop leader. She was also a former member of the Order of Rainbow Girls. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Bunker enjoyed cooking, making crafts and sewing. She also enjoyed dancing, until she was no longer able due to Multiple Sclerosis.
She is survived by the love of her life of 52 years, Eugene Bunker, a son and daughter-in-law, Mark S. and Michelle Bunker of Haverhill, a daughter and son-in-law, Tammi J. and Michael McGrath of Haverhill, two brothers, Everett “Bud” Raymond of Haverhill and John “Jack” Raymond of Windham, N.H., four grandchildren, Ilise, Mallory, Steven, and Kevin, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the West Congregational Church, 767 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. Her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Haverhill.
