Family Releases Accident Victim’s Funeral Plans

Travis Mitchell Yell, 20, of Haverhill passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, after being struck by a motor vehicle on Saturday evening, Oct. 18.

Visiting hours will be Monday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m., at Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Bradford.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at noon. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Mill Street, Haverhill. Complete notice will follow.

Yell, who graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, was walking in the area of Bentley University, near 385 Beaver St., Waltham, at about 11:45 p.m., Saturday night, when he was struck in the westbound lane. Bentley University Police, Waltham Police, Waltham Fire and Cataldo EMS were on scene and treated the victim. He was transported to a Boston area hospital, according to police.
