Joseph B. Green Jr., 15, of Haverhill, died of leukemia Sunday, Oct. 19, at Boston Children’s Hospital.
He was born in Newburyport on Sept. 16, 1999 and was educated in the Haverhill school system. He is survived by his parents Joseph B. Green and Jacqueline J. Downs of Haverhill; his sister Kayla Green of Haverhill; his brother Timothy Rogers of Ayer,; his paternal grandmother Kalister Green-Byrd of Haverhill; his paternal grandfather Joe W. Green and his wife Bonnie Regan of Boynton Beach, Fla; his maternal grandmother Grace Downs of Haverhill; his godmother Louise Oakley of Haverhill; special family friend Diane Mondello of Haverhill; five aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Friday, Oct. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11 in Calvary Baptist Church, 13 Ashland St. Haverhill. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
