Candidates for state representatives, state senator and governor’s council will debate next Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the Haverhill Citizens Center.
The debate, which will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m., is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Greater Haverhill and will be carried by WHAV.
First Essex state senate candidates are incumbent Sen. Kathleen A. O’Connor Ives, 1 Inn St., Newburyport, Democrat, and Haverhill School Committee member Shaun P. Toohey, 696 Crystal St., Haverhill, Republican.
Fourteenth Essex state representative candidates are incumbent Rep. Diana DiZoglio, 3 John St., Methuen, Democrat, and Rosemary Connelly Smedile, 65 Greene St., North Andover, Republican.
Fifteenth Essex state representative candidates are incumbent Rep. Linda Dean Campbell, 42 Sugar Pine Lane, Methuen, Democrat, and Al DiNuccio, 403 Pelham St., Methuen, Republican.
Candidates for governor’s council are incumbent Eileen R. Duff, 8 Barberry Heights Road, Gloucester, Democrat, and Haverhill School Committee member Maura L. Ryan-Ciardiello, 18 Haley Road, Haverhill, Republican.
The debate will be moderated by Rebecca Bachman of the League of Women Voters.
