Haverhill Youth Face Burglary Charges

Two people from Haverhill, including a 17-year-old juvenile, are due to appear in court on burglary and assault charges following their arrests Monday night. Haverhill police report 23-year-old Robert Barker of Haverhill, and a 17-year-old male were taken into custody at about 8:15 p.m., Monday, during an investigation at 26 Laurel Avenue.

Barker is charged with felony breaking and entering in the nighttime, unarmed burglary, malicious destruction of property, and assault and battery. The juvenile was charged with unarmed burglary, and assault and battery.

In other police news, a Haverhill man is accused of shoplifting from a local business Monday night. Haverhill police report 26-year old Joshua Donovan of Haverhill was arrested at 11:15 p.m. last night on Kenoza Avenue.

A North Billerica man is due to face heroin possession charges after his arrest in Haverhill Monday afternoon. Haverhill Police report 28-year-old Noah Reynolds of North Billerica was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 3:45 p.m., Monday on Twelfth Avenue. He is charged with possession of heroin and for being present where heroin is kept. No further details are available.
