Claire T. (Gallant) Laroche, 84, Demoulas Worker

Claire T. (Gallant) Laroche, 84, of Ward Hill, died Wednesday morning, October 1, at her daughters’ residence in North Andover.

She was born in North Andover, November 29, 1929, daughter of the late Stanley and Annette C. (Paradis) Gallant. Educated in St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Mrs. Laroche graduate from St. Mary’s High School, Lawrence. For more than 15 years she was employed at DeMoulas, Westgate Plaza. She enjoyed sewing, woodworking with her late husband, crocheting, traveling and driving her friends around.

Laroche was the wife of the late Roger Laroche who died in 1997 and sister of the late Pauline Cayer who died in 2014. Her survivors include her five sons, Roger and his wife Jackie Laroche of Byfield, Dennis and his wife Lynne Laroche of Plaistow, N.H., Gerard and his wife Pamela Laroche of Plaistow, N.H., Michael and his wife Sharon Laroche of Methuen, Alfred and his wife Michelle Laroche of Amesbury; three daughters, Linda and her husband John Small of San Diego, Calif., Annette and Rob Brittingham of San Diego, Calif., Michelle and her husband Dave Johnson; a sister, Rita Seppa of Ward Hill; two brothers, Leonel and his wife Priscilla Gallant of Merrimac, Adrian Gallant of Plaistow, N.H.; 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Sunday, Oct. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. Her Funeral will be held on Monday, Oct. 6 beginning at 9 a.m. from the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lawrence.
