After Bomb Threat, Residents May Sign Up for Alerts

Plaistow, New Hampshire residents are being offered the opportunity to sign up for emergency alerts from the State of New Hampshire in the wake of a bomb threat incident this week at the Home Depot on route 125, Plaistow Road.

“ReadyNH.gov” was developed to provide information and resources to take action and keep families safe from emergencies. New Hampshire residents can also sign up for “NH Alerts” and CODE RED severe weather alerts from the state. A mobile app is currently being developed.

Meanwhile, a Plaistow Police spokesperson has not responded to WHAV’s request for further comment regarding the investigation into Tuesday’s bomb threat incident. Half the route 125 Plaza where the Home Depot store is located was shut down for several hours. No device was found at the scene by local and N.H. State Police investigators.
