Mary Richardson, Steward Health Care community liaison and former host of Chronicle, will be in Methuen for New Horizons in Women’s Health. It is an evening of health information for women as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A panel of physicians will discuss the latest advances in women’s health care from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct.14 in the ground floor auditorium at Holy Family Hospital, 70 East Street, Methuen. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a breast cancer survivor.
Topics and speakers include Breast Cancer Treatment, Board Certified Oncologist Laura Caprario, M.D.; Well-Woman Care: Preventive Medicine and the Annual Visit, Board Certified Gynecologist Christannah Waters, MD, FACOG. Board certified OB/GYN Fernando Romero, M.D., FACOG will be present to answer questions and offer interpreter services for Spanish speaking guests.
Breast navigators will be available and attendees may schedule a mammogram screening.
